About Us
~ A new adventure ~
Paul and I moved to Torquay in August 2022. We'd only been to Torquay twice before and that was to view Carlton Court. From the first time we came down we fell in love with Torquay, there's so much to do and see and be part of a wonderful area to share with guests, we knew it was the place to be.
Our Story
Paul is a carpenter by trade and co-owned a business back in Kent and I worked for Kent Police as a civilian for 15 years with the last five years being in projects. We loved what we did but needed a change from the run of the mill and pressures and stresses and decided to make a complete change to our lives.
We have left our family and friends in Kent and are in the minority of those that have moved away, and although we miss them all we also know we have made the right decision to move to South Devon.
As you can see our backgrounds aren't in hospitality but what we lack in experience of the trade we make up for in enthusiasm and making sure our guests receive a warm welcome and know all the time that they are staying with us they will receive the best hospitality we can give them.
Our reviews are already proving that but we will continue to build and grow on this new chapter in our lives.
