Brixham Pirate Festival - Early May Bank Holiday

This annual festival held in Brixham, is a swashbuckling mix of seaside shenanigans and pirate-themed fun for everyone.  No harm in dressing up either as most do!  No.12 bus is the best way to get to the festival 

English Riviera Walking Festival - 4th-19th May

Whatever your walking ability, this festival will appeal to walkers who enjoy an adventure in the great outdoors.  Offering over 20 coastal walks led by experienced guides, who will take you on a unique journey along one of England's most scenic coastlines.  The walks range from the historical to the magical, with ones for all fitness levels. You can choose from a short half-mile stroll underground in one of Europe’s top prehistoric caves, to a 12-mile hike from Torquay to Brixham along the coast path.

English Riviera Air Show - 1st-2nd June 

The Airshow is held in Paignton and is a spectacular event.  The weekend event features breath-taking air displays over the stunning natural amphitheatre of South Devon's beautiful bay.  Its completely free to attend and you can either walk, bus or train over to Paignton for a hassle free journey to the event.

Paignton Festival - End of July

The Festival takes place at the end of July, featuring 7 days of amazing entertainment.  Highlights include The Party on the Green, children's entertainment, sporting events, a funfair.  The vast majority of events are absolutely free, although please consider making a donation, as the team support some deserving local charities.

Torbay Pride - 6 - 8th September

After its very successful first year in 2023, we are pleased to see Torbay Pride return for 2024, we've no doubt it will be bigger and better than last year - and that wasn't to be missed, this free one-day family event will take place on Torre Abbey Meadows, just a 10 minute walk from us

 

Agatha Christie Festival - 7th - 15th September

Every September, the English Riviera becomes a crime scene worth some serious investigation, as we celebrate the birthday of Agatha Christie.  You can expect a series of events coinciding with her birthday on 15 September with more fun and literary events.  Full details of the Festival programme and fringe events are available on the Festival website, www.iacf-uk.org or follow the Festival on Twitter and Facebook (@AgathaFestival).

England’s seafood feast - 27th September - 13th October

You will be able to immerse yourself some of the best seafood in the world. This isn't a conventional festival with a big marquee - instead, you can enjoy a whole range of locally landed and caught fish and seafood at over 30 eateries across Brixham, Paignton and Torquay.
